Welcome to the World of FRIDAY: Audience Preparation Guide
To ensure you are fully immersed in the cinematic spectacle of post-war 1940s London, please review the following guidelines for your upcoming attendance at the Movenpick Theater.
Your experience does not begin when the curtain rises; it starts the moment you arrive.
Arrival & Late Arrival Policy
- The show starts at: 8:00 or 9 PM (depends on summer or winter — to be confirmed).
- Arrival Time: We recommend arriving at least 45 to 60 minutes before the scheduled performance time. This allows you to experience the immersive "After-Hours Salon" and the staged scenes that serve as the musical's emotional prelude.
- Late Arrival Policy: To preserve the integrity and flow of the immersive experience, guests arriving after the official performance starting time may not be admitted into the Movenpick Theater. We kindly ask you to respect the scheduled start time, as late arrivals may disrupt the performance's critical opening scenes.
Please note that no refunds or exchanges will be granted for missed performances due to late arrival.
Recommended Dress Code: 1940s Glamour
The performance is a world of elegance, glamour, and cinematic spectacle.
- Style: We invite/recommend guests to dress in 1940s-inspired formal attire to match the post-war London aesthetic — to live the experience fully.
- Inspiration: Think tailored suits, tuxedos, evening gowns, velvet drapes in deep burgundy or midnight green, and classic silhouettes. You are not just an observer; you are entering the first act of the musical itself.
Digital Etiquette: Mobile Camera Block Policy
To protect the soul of the performance and ensure total immersion, the FRIDAY show maintains a controlled, respectful no-camera environment.
- The Pouch: Upon entry, guests will be provided with a discreet mobile camera block pouch.
- Accessibility: You will keep possession of your phone at all times. The soft silicone pouch covers only the front and rear camera lenses, leaving your screen, speakers, and charging ports fully accessible.
- Usage: You may still text, read messages, and take calls freely, but you will be unable to capture photos or videos during the experience. The pouch is closed with a magnetic flap that will be opened by staff at the end of the night.
- It is recommended to keep your phone silent and away, to live the full experience.
We look forward to welcoming you through the "wrong door" and into the magic of FRIDAY.
